Jim Campbell, Pat Mollan and Nigel MumfordJim Campbell, Chairman of the Church's Council for Health and Healing, Dr Pat Mollan, CMH, and Nigel Mumford, Albany Diocese, USA came together to hear Nigel's journey of faith. Nigel came to N Ireland as a raw marine recruit, aged 18 years and saw things he found impossible to cope with. After leaving the Marines, he eventually became ordained in the Episcopal Church of the United States of America, and in Albany Diocese, runs their Life Centre. It is only two years since he was persuaded to come back to the Diocese of Down and Dromore, and began to deal with the issues so embedded in his young adult experiences in Belfast. He now has visited the lower Falls and other difficult areas for him, and is firmly linked now tot eh Healing miniseries here in Ireland. Any further description of his faith journey and testimony would only spoil any future presentation, so watch for a return visit; go along, be inspired and hear how the Lord is using him.

Welcome to the website of the Church's Ministry of Healing, a ministry of the

Church of Ireland which is available to all who find themselves in need of Christ's healing and love. We are committed to serving, supporting, praying, teaching and ministering in a broken and fear-filled world. We believe that God's healing power is an expression of His love for His people, that Christ is the only Healer, but that he uses frail hands to bring powerful experiences of peace in times of trouble, joy in times of distress, and love in times of fear. We want to encourage you to engage with us in a journey of discovery as we learn more of God, and of ourselves through living encounters with His unconditional love.

As a ministry we are going through a time of transition as we clarify our role and how we can best serve Jesus' command to 'Preach the Gospel, heal the sick, raise the fallen ...' We would greatly appreciate your prayers in this process. Our website is also 'a work in progress' as we add further information, updates and let you know of other initiatives around the Church of Ireland that reflect where God is leading us as a ministry. I want to express heartfelt thanks to all who have helped to develop this website, a special word of thanks to Daniel Williams for his input and creative design. We exist to serve, and we welcome any suggestions you may have to help us to help you.

Your in Christ, Baden Stanley. CMH
